Summary
Alicia tells Klen that Drel means to conquer Hiden and must be stopped. Klen takes his true form and leaves to deal with the army himself. Alicia, Nelluru and Luna move on to the town of Shiron, where former Crows are being executed in the square. They take rooms at an inn whose family is wary of outsiders.
Meynard tracks them down and surrounds the town with giant insects. He storms the inn and demands the baby, while the High Wizard Naie goes after Nelluru.
