Eslinn is one of the two great nations of the Don people, lying west of the Dorn River. It and Boelate were once a single country, split about four hundred years ago by a feud between brothers, and the two have been in conflict ever since. Its emblem is a lily.
Eslinn’s capital, Esleburg (Esleberg), hosts the sword tournament where Margo Glenfall became Sword Master, the Royal University of Esleburg, and Seilia, the independent holy site and headquarters of the Eld religion, which not even the king may freely enter. Eslinn also has a department of dark arts, though it lagged behind Boelate in magic.
During Boelate’s invasion of Hiden, Eslinn sent Rhode Royes to help defend the border. Its king, the boy Yuriel Esliel, negotiated the two-year ceasefire after the war and sent agents to Solsein.
