Milea Renault Allozar Werz is the daughter of Emperor Beis Werz of Boelate and a descendant of Bishop Allozar. Her family has kept the Book of Toa of the second passage, “The Town of Origin”, the book that governs the trials of the Solsein Seminary.
The curse of Allozar
Every keeper of the book is fated to split from their own reflection in the mirror: a hidden dark personality forms that the surface self does not know about. Milea’s mother, tormented by this, jumped to her death when Milea was four, apologizing for having given birth to her.
At around the same time Drel arrived at the Boelate court and told the girl to face the mirror and ask “who are you?”. Vordin answered. As a child Milea defeated the then-leader of the Union in a magic duel. At fourteen she became chairwoman of Solsein. Her dark half pulled Headmaster Elro Romain through the mirror, copied his face and voice with a death-mask-like spell, and secretly ruled the school as “the Chancellor”. It then imprisoned the surface Milea, the kind princess, inside the mirror world.
The Solsein incident
As the Chancellor, Milea ran the trials that produced the “Awakened” students, used the book to put the school to sleep, and sent students against Clevatess. She revealed herself to the Union, gathered the five Books of Toa with Vordin’s help and opened the gates of the restored holy sites, planning to resurrect the hero Wright.
She fought Alicia in the Mirror Labyrinth, transforming into a horned “Dark Princess” with a mirror staff, and set Alicia her second trial against an image of her father. Alicia passed it, and the twins Tygel and Leon brought the surface Milea back. Admitting that her violent side was also herself, Milea merged with her reflection into a single person.
Afterwards she used Solsein’s domain power to erase a day of memories from those who had lost consciousness, so that the blame fell on the “missing Chancellor” and she was recorded as a kidnapped princess who had been rescued.
