Wright

The last true hero, summoned from another world, author of the Legend of the Hero.

Wright was the strongest of the heroes who fought the Devil Beast Kings more than 1,100 years ago, and the author of the Legend of the Hero.

History

Like all heroes, Wright was summoned by Toa from another world into a prepared body that resurrected after death. He called himself Wright because his job was to write. His two skills were Librarian, the ability to infuse books with the power of a domain, and Great Sage, the ability to make people believe what he writes. Toa ordered him to write a grimoire that would guide and control its unruly heroes, who had been promised a return home if they defeated the Kings.

Wright despised the emotionless Toans, who worked the lower races to death and let the heroes abuse them. Travelling with a disguised Vordin, whom he knew as “Vod”, he wrote the five-volume Legend of the Hero in a way that strengthened the heroes to their limit and created a holy site for each volume. Then he cleared the clouds around the Audience Chamber and let the heroes take revenge on the Toans. Afterwards the heroes asked only to die. Wright fused the Book of the Temple with the resurrection system and pierced it together with his own heart, and every hero followed him in death.

He told Vordin that this was only the prologue of the defeat of “Toa the Eternal”, and that he had sown seeds that would bear fruit. His body was laid in the Temple, where time stood still. The Union and Vordin tried to restore his scattered soul, but when the body woke in the present it was possessed by Toa.
