Edison Lieucraft is a tall, dark-skinned, curly-haired exchange student from Slada, “the country of the Eastern Sea”. He is friendly and easygoing.
The Devil Beast King Laswell lives in his head as a parasite, promising to give him his brain back eventually. Edison’s own skill is shaping carbon: he can make anything out of charcoal, as hard as diamond and light enough to fly, and Laswell boosts it greatly. He accompanied Laswell into the Chamber, saw Wright’s body awaken as Toa, and flew back to Solsein on a carbon glider.
