Synopsis
Clevatess, one of the four Beast Kings who rule the dark lands, takes revenge on the human kingdom of Hiden and leaves it in ruins. From the wreckage he takes in a baby of its royal family and decides to raise the child himself.
Knowing nothing about caring for a human, he resurrects Alicia Glenfall — one of the thirteen heroes Hiden sent to slay him — and binds her to his will as an undead servant. While the Beast King studies humanity through the child, the unlikely family is drawn into a war with Vordin, another Beast King.
Clevatess is a dark fantasy manga by Yūji Iwahara, serialized since 2020 and adapted into a TV anime by Lay-duce in 2025.
