Summary
Cornered in a watermill, Alicia talks with the townsman Mark, who learns she fought Clevatess and warns her about the dark lands. Seeing she means them no harm, the villagers stand down, but Meynard stabs Mark and poisons Alicia. The townspeople shelter in the mill while Meynard unleashes a giant scorpion and swarms of larvae that turn into moths.
Outmatched, Alicia is saved when Klen returns the Waterfall Slicer to her. She wipes out the swarm and beheads Meynard when he refuses to surrender, leaving Naie stunned. Klen rejoins them, revealing that only part of him was sealed and that another Devil Beast King is backing Drel.
