Summary
A thousand years ago, Clevatess learns from Zavthier that no enemies remain. In the present, Klen spends his time with Sarasa and Edison, leaving Alicia to investigate alone. Nathan is expelled. The twins offer to work with Alicia, and Naie confesses she is a spy and agrees to help in exchange for Drel’s secrets. In Eslinn, Yuriel sends Owen to Hiden, where Luna is learning magic.
Klen leads a student who is tailing them astray. Sarasa then reveals herself as the medium of Zavthier, and Edison as the host of Laswell, the Devil Beast King of the East. The three Kings discuss Vordin, and Zavthier explains the Legend of the Hero, which Naie is telling Alicia at the same time. Alicia goes looking for Drel’s hidden room, finds Andrew in a greenhouse and touches a strange snail, which pulls her into another world. There, a giant skeleton traps her in a jar.
