The Bent are a relatively new people of Edthea, living in the eastern wastelands. Others regard them as barbaric outcasts, although some religious leaders of the Dorne lands favor them, and they are sometimes counted as a sixth major race. Among the Bent strength is everything: might makes right, there are constant internal power struggles and there is no political unity.
A group of exiled Bent and people of mixed blood has settled in Kompe, on the eastern edge of Hiden.
