Episode 12: The Millennium of a Lord of Dark Beasts

Vordin's history with the hero Wright is revealed, and Toa rises beneath the labyrinth.

Summary

Klen and Vordin are evenly matched as Klen remembers his rebirth a thousand years ago. Their battle reveals an ancient land beneath the labyrinth: Toa itself, the source of the world’s curses.

In a flashback, Vordin tells of his war against the heroes Toa summoned. He meets the hero Wright, who wants to destroy Toa for forcing people to fight, and joins him to learn more. Wright, who wrote the five Books of Toa, kills the people of Toa and then himself, leaving Vordin to finish his story. Vordin, unwilling to let him go, lays his body in the shrine. Wright is the hero of the Legend. In the present, Wright’s body returns to life just as Vordin strikes Klen down.
