Moon Mountain is the lair of Clevatess, the Devil Beast King of the South. It is a twin-spired peak that can be seen from Shiron and lies beyond two mountains south-east of Hiderat, surrounded by the territory of devil beasts. Behind it stands a black wall that the heroes believed to be one of the world’s outer gates.
Magic ore is abundant on the mountain. The thirteen heroes of Hiden attacked Clevatess here, and their bodies were left at the bottom of a ravine in a large cavern. In a thousand years, they were the only heroes to reach the Devil Beast King.
