Tygel Blouyer and Leon Blouyer (also “Lion”) are twin sons of an Eslinn noble house. They had a record of assaults, including on three teachers, and King Yuriel sent them to Solsein partly to hide his real purpose; their father would be happy if they disappeared. Their father once told them he only needed one heir, so they teamed up to take the inheritance together.
They use old-fashioned medicine magic: powdered magic ore, ash and silver to raise whirlwinds, and their signature illusion Mirror Storm, which multiplies their reflections. They want to win a crest and show certain people what they can do.
After Nathan’s disappearance they formed an alliance with Alicia. They infiltrated the Union’s meeting disguised with death masks, witnessed the Chancellor reveal herself as Milea, and in the Mirror Labyrinth rescued the surface Milea, using Mirror Storm to help her accept her reflection.
